From a Vision of Collective Independence to a Thriving Cooperative
Nafasi Multipurpose Cooperative Society was established in 2014 during the Annual General Meeting of the Uganda National NGO Forum (UNNGOF). Conceived by development professionals and community leaders, Nafasi was created to address a critical systemic gap: providing dependable, member-driven financial resilience and wealth preservation beyond traditional commercial banking.
Over the past decade, Nafasi has evolved into a robust multipurpose cooperative registered under the Uganda Registrar of Cooperative Societies. We provide disciplined high-yield savings schemes, accessible low-interest credit lines, comprehensive family emergency welfare coverage, and syndication for high-value agricultural and real estate ventures.
